Role Overview

We seek a passionate Barista who is well-versed in coffee brewing methods and knowledgeable about various coffee beans and their distinctive taste profiles. The successful candidate will be skilled in operating espresso and other coffee-making equipment, committed to excellent customer service, and able to manage orders efficiently while maintaining a tidy and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve premium quality coffee and espresso drinks.
• Exhibit proficiency in coffee brewing techniques and understand different coffee bean varieties and their flavors.
• Operate espresso machines and associated equipment competently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with guests.
• Process customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Ensure the workspace is clean, orderly, and meets hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience working as a Barista, preferably within a hotel, café, or restaurant setting.
• Sound knowledge of various coffee preparation methods and beverage recipes.
• Competence in using espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
• Understanding of different coffee bean types and their flavor profiles.
• Capability to create a range of hot and cold coffee beverages per established standards.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple orders under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation to uphold food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively within a team adhering to operational guidelines and hygiene protocols.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
