Your Role

We are currently recruiting a Barista to be a part of our team located in Galway, reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager. This role requires a customer-centric individual passionate about producing outstanding coffee. You'll be responsible for providing catering services to Boston Scientific staff and visitors. It is an excellent opportunity for a committed candidate.

Ideal candidates are friendly, motivated, and eager to join a vibrant catering team. The position is permanent, with work covering 5 out of 7 days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and take full accountability for running a standalone coffee bar.
• Prepare specialty hot and cold beverages promptly, upholding the highest coffee quality standards.
• Promote products actively and encourage sales continuously.
• Strictly follow all cleaning schedules.
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service.
• Execute reasonable management requests and participate in required training.
• Manage closing procedures at day's end, including cash handling duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar barista role.
• Proficient in handling cash transactions.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• High personal standards with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with food hygiene practices and HACCP standards.
• Adaptability and capability to work independently.
• Good command of English.
