Role Overview

We are searching for an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our bar operations at Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for managing daily bar functions, ensuring outstanding guest service, efficient operation, and a well-coordinated team dedicated to excellence in a luxury resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee bar personnel including scheduling, onboarding, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development to maintain a high-performance team.
• Implement strict inventory oversight, track beverage stock, and coordinate procurement to balance cost control with product availability.
• Ensure all operations meet health, safety, sanitation standards, and adhere to local Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations.
• Deliver superior customer service by upholding service standards and swiftly resolving guest issues professionally.
• Utilize POS systems and beverage management software for sales tracking, inventory management, and employee monitoring.
• Create and update beverage menus, focused on non-alcoholic options and mocktails, aligning with the resort’s luxury standards and guest expectations.
• Analyze beverage costs, pricing policies, and financial performance to achieve profitability goals.
• Conduct continual training sessions to enhance staff knowledge on beverages and service excellence.
• Manage conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and motivation.
• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity within bar, restaurant, or hospitality settings.
• Experience overseeing beverage operations in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong expertise in non-alcoholic beverage preparation, mocktail creation, and service standards.
• Proficient with POS technology and inventory control software.
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and develop staff professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities oriented around outstanding customer service.
• Financial savvy relating to beverage cost control, budgeting, and profit enhancement.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Organizational aptitude and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural customs is advantageous.
• Certifications in hospitality management or beverage services are beneficial.
