Position Summary
The Bar Back plays a vital role in supporting bar operations by managing inventory flow of liquor, beer, and wine, replenishing supplies, and assisting with beverage service. This role demands reliability in maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the bar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and transport liquor, beer, and wine from storerooms to bar as needed throughout shifts.
- Collect and deliver all requisite food items from the kitchen to the bar area.
- Prepare the bar by arranging bottles with premium liquors on the back shelf and ensuring proper functionality of beer taps.
- Maintain stocked bar snacks and supplies such as napkins during shifts.
- Support opening and closing activities of bar side work.
- Clear and bus tables within the bar space.
- Maintain cleanliness by washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, floors below equipment, and sweeping/mopping the service area including floor mats.
- Dispose of all rubbish from bar receptacles promptly.
- Assist bartenders by preparing and serving beverages when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience in barback duties, customer service, and catering is mandatory.
- Availability to work full-time including weekends and holidays, with variable days and hours.
- Ability to work onsite at the specified location in Atlanta, GA.
Compensation and Work Details
- Hourly wage is fixed at $15.44 per hour.
- Full-time schedule; days and hours may vary.
- Location: Delta - 2600 Maynard H Jackson Jr Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30354.
- Weekly payment and parking availability provided.
