Role Overview
The Banking Consultant plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences across ANZ’s Retail product offerings, including transaction services, needs-based interactions, and digital solution education, with the exception of Home Lending. Success in this position is driven by embodying ANZ’s values, demonstrating expert retail banking skills, and achieving goals related to management, customer satisfaction, and financial results for ANZ.
Working Hours and Location
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dunedin. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer outcomes and ensure high customer satisfaction during all interactions with ANZ, from greeting customers to assessing and fulfilling their needs.
- Apply ANZ’s frameworks to comprehensively explore and understand the financial requirements of existing and prospective customers and address those needs or refer them appropriately.
- Assist customers in understanding and using digital banking tools by highlighting their benefits and simplifying banking processes tailored to customer preferences.
- Collaborate with team members by supporting their workload and exchanging ideas and successes to maintain a strong branch environment.
- Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of bank processes, products, and services to confidently identify and fulfill customer requirements effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong dedication to customer service with an emphasis on delivering results and satisfaction.
- Competency in consumer lending at a practical level.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Familiarity with compliance standards preferred.
- Proficiency in computer literacy is advantageous.
