Role Overview
As a Banking Consultant located in Palmerston North, you will deliver outstanding customer service across various retail banking products (excluding Home Lending). Your role will involve transaction handling, conducting needs-based financial discussions, and promoting digital banking tools. Success is measured through adherence to ANZ values, strong retail banking skills, and achieving positive customer and financial results.
Work Hours and Type
This is a permanent, full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer experiences from greeting to fulfilling their financial service needs.
- Apply ANZ frameworks to identify and address the financial needs of clients, offering optimal banking solutions or referrals as necessary.
- Educate customers about convenient digital banking options tailored to their preferences.
- Collaborate with and support branch team members to manage workloads and share best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive, current knowledge of ANZ products, processes, and services to confidently meet client needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong focus on customer service and delivering effective outcomes.
- Competence in consumer lending procedures.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills.
