Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the top quality and visual appeal of bakery products including breads, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully stocked and prepared for daily business operations.
• Verify all bakery items are correctly signed and priced to company standards.
• Comply with strict procedures regarding cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature logging, food safety, rotation, and monitoring product sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow all mandated food handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols.
• Manage product ordering, clearance pricing, markdowns, and accurate labeling practices.
• Prepare bakery items by adhering to precise thawing and baking instructions to maintain product integrity.
• Securely arrange all product displays to ensure safety and compliance.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
