Role Overview

Join our team to enhance the inviting and fresh shopping environment Farm Boy is recognized for. By delivering excellent customer service and maintaining an attractive department appearance, you help create a memorable experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, confident, and engaging customer service aligned with Farm Boy’s fresh shopping commitment.
• Greet and assist customers using established Farm Boy Service Standards, sharing enthusiasm and product knowledge.
• Package, stock, and rotate products on display shelves and counters to ensure proper presentation and accurate labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in work and storage areas through regular housekeeping tasks like sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Adhere to corporate policies with a focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and correct use of equipment.
• Perform designated opening and closing duties and offer support to teammates as required.
• Contribute to the team by assisting with other tasks as needed periodically.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for delivering friendly and exceptional customer service.
• Retail experience is advantageous; equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered.
• Strong ability to work independently with focus on quality and cleanliness.
• A collaborative spirit enhanced by effective communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort thriving in a fast-paced environment requiring standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and varied temperature conditions including coolers and outdoors.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
