Role Overview
Join the bakery team as a Baker where you will have the opportunity to create delicious breads and cakes, showcase your baking skills, and contribute to a vibrant department known for its creativity and quality. This position involves ensuring high standards in food safety and health practices as well as guiding apprentices and team members.
Responsibilities
- Baking a variety of quality breads and cakes for the department.
- Maintaining and promoting health and food safety standards to provide excellent customer service.
- Mentoring, training, and supervising apprentices and bakery team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous baking experience with proven knowledge in the craft.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to work well under pressure, adapt to flexible schedules, and meet tight deadlines.
Work Hours
This role follows a rostered schedule starting early morning shifts:
- Monday to Sunday: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
