Role Overview

Join Woolworths New Zealand as a Baker in our bakery department, where you'll craft quality breads and cakes, express creativity, and contribute to our vibrant team culture dedicated to making Kiwi lives better.

Working Hours

This role operates on a roster with the following schedule:

• Monday: 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Tuesday: 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Friday: 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Saturday: 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of high-quality cakes and breads.
• Uphold robust Health and Safety and Food Safety standards to deliver excellent customer service.
• Lead and mentor apprentices and team members within the bakery department.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated previous experience and sound knowledge in baking practices.
• Strong focus on customer service and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to flexible, time-sensitive work scenarios.
