Role Overview

We are seeking a Baker to join the Woolworths New Zealand team to contribute to our bakery department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to advance their career in baking within a supportive and dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and bake high-quality cakes and bread products for the bakery section.
• Promote and maintain Health and Safety as well as Food Safety standards to deliver exceptional customer service in the bakery.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise apprentices and fellow team members within the bakery team.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated prior experience and knowledge of baking techniques and processes.
• Strong emphasis on customer service with excellent communication abilities.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure, adapt to flexible work schedules, and meet tight deadlines.
