Job description
Overview
Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a dedicated and energetic baker to join their team in Perkinston, Mississippi. This full-time onsite position involves preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare baked goods by accurately following established recipes to ensure quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and baking equipment consistently.
- Manage inventory by ordering ingredients and maintaining stock levels regularly.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow baking recipes precisely and observe proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
- Experience operating diverse kitchen tools required in baking various products.
- Basic mathematical competence for managing inventory and ingredient ordering.
- Experience with retail baking environments is considered an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $12.
