Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and refine enterprise backup and data protection services ensuring strong recoverability and resilience.

- Develop scalable backup strategies aligned with business requirements, including RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective), covering cloud and on-premises environments.
- Promote cyber resilience by enforcing secure storage, access controls, proactive monitoring, and effective response to backup-associated incidents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance, compliance, thorough documentation, and ongoing enhancement of data protection services.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing and optimising Commvault backup and recovery tools within enterprise settings.
- Deep understanding of backup methodologies, disaster recovery concepts, and cyber resilience measures such as ransomware protection and data immutability.
- Technical proficiency across hybrid environments, including physical, virtualised, and cloud platforms (notably Azure or AWS).
- Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs, infrastructure-as-code) to enhance automation and reduce manual overhead.
- Strong collaborative and analytical skills, with problem-solving abilities to navigate complex technical challenges and engage effectively with various teams.
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible for and able to maintain Baseline security clearance.
