Backend Web Developer

Overview

Smart 5 Solutions is seeking a capable Backend PHP Developer to enhance our technical team. This position involves crafting efficient backend logic, managing key databases, and integrating third-party APIs to ensure smooth web application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient, and secure server-side code utilizing modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Design, construct, and fine-tune database schemas and intricate queries using MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Build and maintain reliable RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange with frontend and mobile interfaces.
• Apply stringent security measures to safeguard against vulnerabilities including SQL injection and unauthorized data breaches.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and system administrators to implement and support feature deployments.

Candidate Profile

• Possess between 1 to 4 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficient in Core PHP programming, Laravel framework, MySQL databases, RESTful API design, and version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, along with fundamental knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is advantageous.
• Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree or B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology, though substantial experience is welcomed.
• Good command of English to comprehend technical documentation and participate in team communications.
