About the Role
Join TikTok's Privacy and Security team to help build and maintain systems that enhance user privacy and comply with privacy laws. Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and sustain backend systems that reinforce privacy across TikTok's platform.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure technical compliance with global privacy regulations.
- Manage privacy incidents by investigating their scope and root causes and leading remediation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in developing backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, C++, Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Previous involvement in creating and implementing privacy features and solutions in industry settings.
