Role Overview
We are searching for a Backend Engineer to expand our AdTech platform. This position involves developing scalable, high-performance web applications and collaborating with diverse teams to serve millions of users effectively. The role offers a salary range between €80,000 and €140,000 annually, with equity options included.
Technical Stack
- TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, Jest.
- GraphQL, REST, gRPC, WebSockets.
- MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery.
- RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub.
- Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD.
- Datadog monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
- Develop data-driven products by integrating external services for A/B testing and feature flag management.
- Deliver reliable, testable code rapidly to ensure smooth operation.
- Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Copilot for enhanced development productivity.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven production experience with Node.js development.
- Strong background in web application development.
- Comprehension of designing scalable systems.
- Experience with most of the mentioned technology stack.
- Possess an ownership mindset for responsibilities.
- Fluent English communication skills for effective teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
