Role Overview
The Back Office Executive will be responsible for handling invoicing duties, maintaining financial ledgers, and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate and dispatch precise invoices to clients according to established agreements and schedules.
- Keep up-to-date client ledger books and regularly provide statements of account.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients via telephone and email regarding outstanding and overdue payments.
- Match incoming payments with invoices and update financial records accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales and accounting departments to resolve any billing conflicts or discrepancies.
- Ensure all invoices, payment receipts, and related correspondences are properly documented and organized.
- Compile routine reports detailing outstanding receivables and current collection statuses.
Candidate Requirements
- A graduate degree in commerce or a related discipline is required.
- Between one to three years of professional experience in billing, accounts receivable, or back-office operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions and follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail with a capability to adhere to deadlines.
