Back End Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to help design, develop, and support secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise digital platforms. This position focuses on building APIs, working with databases, connecting third-party services, and keeping systems dependable, safe, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations with other systems.
• Architect application solutions that can grow with business needs and remain easy to maintain.
• Design, develop, and improve databases and data structures.
• Apply security measures and follow strong coding standards.
• Investigate and resolve performance issues and technical faults.
• Work closely with frontend engineers and business analysts to deliver solutions.
• Assist with deployment, system monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
• Draft technical documentation and system-level specifications.

Required Skills

• Experience with backend technologies such as .NET, Java, Node.js, PHP Laravel, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud environments including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps basics.
• Ability to handle system integrations and API lifecycle management.
• Understanding of application security and performance tuning.
• Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
