Web Administrator - E-Commerce

Overview

The Web Administrator role involves overseeing the management, upkeep, and enhancement of the organization's e-commerce platform, specifically utilizing Adobe Magento / Adobe Commerce Cloud technologies. This position ensures the seamless day-to-day operations of the online store through monitoring website performance, conducting analytics, optimizing SEO, and improving the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Adobe Commerce platform efficiently.
• Track and analyze website performance using tools such as GA4 and GTM.
• Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
• Enhance the customer journey to boost conversion rates.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate continuous platform improvements and operational stability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Certification in Adobe Commerce or a comparable cloud-based e-commerce platform is advantageous.
• Have at least three years of experience managing Adobe Commerce storefronts or similar e-commerce platforms; five years preferred.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Adobe Commerce administration.
• Proficient with web analytics tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Experienced in SEO best practices and strategies.
• Familiarity with customer journey mapping and conversion rate optimization.
• Knowledgeable about search engine integrations like Algolia and similar technologies.
• Ability to interpret data to derive actionable business insights effectively.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for working with diverse teams.
• Technical proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, HTTP(S), and REST/SOAP APIs.
