Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced B1.3 Mechanical Licensed Engineers to join our mobile support team serving the Africa and Middle East regions. This role involves front-line technical support for heavy twin-engine helicopters, requiring adaptability to work in various challenging environments beyond the hangar.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled base and line maintenance as well as unscheduled repairs and troubleshooting for H225, Caracal, and Super Puma helicopter models.
- Respond promptly to deployment requests, providing on-site technical support, handling Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations, and executing specialized repairs at customer locations.
- Certify all maintenance work complies with EASA Part 145 or equivalent local aviation authority regulations and internal quality standards.
- Serve as the technical point of contact, advising customer maintenance teams to ensure continuous operational capability.
- Maintain strict safety practices, ensuring compliance with tooling, parts, and procedural aviation standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a valid EASA Part 66 B1.3 License or an equivalent certification.
- Current type ratings on H225 (EC225LP) and/or AS332 (L1, L2, C1) helicopters are mandatory.
- At least five years of direct maintenance experience on these helicopter types.
- High willingness and flexibility to travel frequently and accept short-term postings across Africa and the Middle East.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of French is advantageous for operations in West Africa.
- Open to short-term mobilizations throughout Africa and Middle East countries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional type ratings on Airbus models such as H145, H135, or AS365/H155.
- Experience working with military variants like Caracal/Cougar and mission equipment.
- Capability to operate independently in remote or resource-limited areas.
