Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced B licence driver and delivery assistant with a strong work ethic and a commitment to outstanding customer service. This position involves providing an efficient home delivery service primarily based in Galway and surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will be personable, flexible, and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary customer service consistently during deliveries.
• Verify orders carefully before delivery to customers.
• Unload goods in accordance with client requirements.
• Assemble furniture inside customers' residences.
• Remove prearranged old furniture when necessary.
• Maintain communication with Logistics and Customer Service teams throughout delivery tasks.
• Adhere to dress code by wearing the company uniform and maintaining professional appearance.
• Perform vehicle inspection before departure to ensure safety and readiness.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a full clean B driving licence with van driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of city and county road networks, familiar with the local area within the province.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of heavy lifting on a daily basis.
• Preference for candidates with at least one year of home delivery experience; however, training will be available for motivated individuals.
