Role Overview

DCE is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team in Melbourne. This role focuses on deploying and operating DC2Vue, an enterprise digital health platform, within the Microsoft Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines tailored for enterprise application deployment on Microsoft Azure.
• Handle containerized workloads employing Azure Container Apps and administration of container registries.
• Ensure database performance, reliability, and security in production environments.
• Deploy and scale microservice architecture solutions within large enterprise settings.
• Continuously monitor system health and resolve production-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with development and support teams on daily operational activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proficient hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and security.
• Competent working experience with Azure Container Apps, Docker, and container registry management.
• Familiarity with relational databases as well as Cosmos DB.
• Demonstrated ability to design and automate DevOps pipelines using YAML along with scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience utilizing GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and continuous integration/deployment workflows.
• Practical knowledge deploying scaled microservice solutions.
• Between two to five years of relevant industry experience.
