Avionics Mechanic - Rotary

Overview

The Avionics Mechanic position involves conducting both routine and non-routine maintenance on helicopters under the guidance of a Licensed Engineer - Rotary and Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary. This role requires adhering to strict safety and quality standards while ensuring all maintenance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance tasks.
• Collaborating to identify and resolve defects effectively.
• Communicating updates and recommendations to Licensed Engineer and Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary.
• Complying with quality assurance and company protocols.
• Observing all relevant safety practices and regulations.
• Maintaining precise and organized maintenance records.
• Upholding cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Handling helicopters safely and efficiently during maintenance operations.
• Participating in specialized projects as required.
• Supporting Licensed Engineers in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of a diploma, associate degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working as a mechanic within the aviation sector.
• Strong foundational knowledge of aviation principles and practices.
• Completed technical aviation training programs.
• Additional non-technical aviation training.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively and perform under challenging operational conditions.
