About the Role

This permanent part-time position based at Stansted Air Gateway involves screening packages to identify and mitigate potential security threats by applying various technologies, procedures, and regulatory standards. What You Will Do

• Perform and verify daily checks on security equipment to ensure functionality.
• Protect the air cargo transportation network by monitoring package safety.
• Report any quality or process concerns promptly to supervisors for resolution.
• Oversee work environments to maintain security standards.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance among all personnel.

Your Qualifications

• Basic competencies in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• A genuine professional interest in safety and security matters.
• Completion of background and security clearance checks successfully.
• Pass a color vision test to confirm visual capabilities for the role.
• Strong judgment, decision-making ability, and effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail combined with diligence in task execution.

Benefits and Work Schedule

• Hourly wage of £13.00 with an additional premium of £2.86 for night shifts between 8 PM and 6 AM.
• Work shifts from Monday to Thursday 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and Friday 7:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
