Aviation Security Agent (Riyadh - Jeddah)

Position Overview

SGS - Saudi Ground Services is seeking a dedicated Aviation Security Agent to join our Security Department. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of passengers, aircraft, airport infrastructure, and air cargo at locations in Riyadh and Jeddah.

Key Duties

• Conduct passenger and cabin baggage security screening at designated Security Restricted Area entry points.
• Perform secondary security checks and physical inspections following approved SOPs while respecting passenger dignity.
• Screen checked baggage, cargo, mail, and catering materials utilizing authorized security tools and procedures.
• Identify, isolate, and document suspicious items and coordinate with airlines, cargo agents, and airport police as needed.
• Enforce access control by verifying credentials and supervising entry to restricted sections.
• Support aircraft security inspections and safeguard planes during ground handling and overnight stays.
• Carry out airside patrols and monitor boarding zones to prevent unauthorized access or aircraft interference.
• Respond promptly to aviation security incidents in compliance with emergency and contingency protocols.
• Maintain meticulous security records and protect classified information confidentiality.
• Assist in regulatory audits, official inspections, compulsory training, security drills, and exercises.
• Provide courteous and culturally respectful passenger services while upholding aviation security and ethical standards.
