Automation Tester

Role Overview

This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in manual and/or automation testing, with a preference for those skilled in automation. Candidates must have demonstrable expertise in leading or mentoring quality assurance teams, coupled with strong capabilities in test planning, execution, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases effectively.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting automation testing frameworks.
• Working in Agile or Scrum development cycles.

Technical Expertise

• Proven use of JUnit and TestNG testing frameworks.
• Solid grasp of Selenium and Core Java programming.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of API automation testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Test Management software such as Zephyr Scale or Xray.
• Exposure to continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Additional Competencies (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Tricentis Tosca, including standard and image-based identification techniques.
• Background in Investment Banking or Financial Services sectors.
• Understanding of enterprise-level testing within regulated environments.
