About the Role
Join as an Automation Test Engineer to bolster the quality assurance of software products within a proactive team environment. You will contribute significantly to the software delivery lifecycle by designing and implementing automated testing solutions, ensuring that applications meet rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium frameworks to validate software functionality.
- Partner with developers to gather test requirements and prepare detailed test strategies and plans.
- Perform detailed analysis of test outcomes to detect software defects and collaborate with developers to rectify issues promptly.
- Refine and upgrade test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness continually.
- Engage in code reviews, offering insights to improve test coverage and uphold quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation in B.Tech, B.E., BCA, or B.Sc. in any discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in quality assurance automation, particularly with Selenium-based testing.
- Strong analytical aptitude coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving capability and proficiency in communication.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Java Selenium for building reliable automated test scripts.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within these workflows.
- Successful history of implementing improvements in test processes and methodologies.
- Comfortable working in Agile development settings, adaptable to evolving project requirements.
- Experience in performance and load testing is advantageous.
