Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Automation Specialist with extensive expertise in CAD automation focused on CATIA V5/V6 and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong proficiency in engineering scripting languages and a comprehensive grasp of CAD data structures and design intent. This position is based in Pune, specifically Kalyani Nagar, and emphasizes hands-on experience with both CAD and PLM environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leveraging over 10 years of experience to enhance CAD automation processes utilizing CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE platforms.
- Developing and maintaining scripts using EKL, VBScript, Python, or JavaScript to streamline CAD workflows.
- Deep engagement with CAD data architectures, parametric modeling techniques, and ensuring the preservation of design intent throughout automation.
- Utilizing CATIA-specific tools such as templates, Power Copies, and Knowledgeware to create efficient design solutions.
- Managing and integrating CAD data within PLM systems to support design lifecycle management.
Desired Additional Skills
- Customization and automation expertise on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Working knowledge of CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE APIs to extend platform functionality.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practical experience using version control systems like Git.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capability to collaborate effectively both independently and within teams.
Experience and Location
Candidates should possess between 5 to 12 years of relevant industry experience. The position is located onsite in Pune, Maharashtra, specifically Kalyani Nagar.
