Automation Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Automation Engineer specializing in resilient automation solutions. The role requires deep expertise predominantly in automation technologies with a balance of other complementary skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts primarily using Ansible, including YAML Playbooks, roles, and collections as well as PowerShell scripting.
• Manage and implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) and Git version control systems.
• Engage in Python development for automation and tooling tasks.
• Work with Docker containers and container orchestration via VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS).
• Provide thought leadership in automation strategies and practices within the team.
• Consume APIs to integrate various automation tools and develop APIs focused on designing, coding, and securing interfaces for seamless tool connectivity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have a strong background in automation; approximately 70-80% of the skillset should be focused on automation technologies.
• Experience with Ansible automation development is essential.
• Skilled in Python programming and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Demonstrated capability in API consumption and API development best practices.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in software engineering and development.

Additional Information

• The role is open to candidates across all company locations but primarily based in Noida or Bangalore.
• The compensation range is estimated between 55 to 60 lakhs per annum (INR).
