Job description
Role Overview
The Automation Assembly Technician is responsible for constructing mechanical assemblies predominantly used in automated systems. The technician must skillfully assemble parts such as linear guides, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components accurately, including linear guides, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatic elements.
- Interpret and apply information from technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications to correctly build assemblies.
- Conduct quality checks and testing on sub-assemblies and finished machinery to ensure smooth operation, proper alignment, and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical fitting issues, implementing minor modifications or adjustments as required.
