Job Overview

We are seeking an AutoCAD Draughtsman to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings according to project specifications. This role involves preparing work, fabrication, shop, and layout drawings, coordinating closely with engineers, site supervisors, and project teams. The candidate must ensure accuracy, dimensions, and adherence to drawing standards while maintaining comprehensive records and managing revisions. Occasional site visits to take measurements and collaborate on drawings will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings tailored to project needs.
• Prepare various types of drawings such as work, fabrication, shop, and layout.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and project personnel.
• Update and adjust drawings based on client or site feedback.
• Verify the correctness of dimensions and compliance with drawing standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation and revisions for all drawings.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather measurements and coordinate drawing requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong command of AutoCAD in both 2D and 3D formats.
• Solid understanding of construction and fabrication drawing standards.
• Capability to interpret and comprehend technical drawings thoroughly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience in sectors like roofing, ceilings, interior works, fabrication, or construction is beneficial.
• Educational background including Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related disciplines.
