Role Overview
The Auto Detailer position is a gateway career opportunity into the collision repair industry. Individuals passionate about cars and manual work, with ambitions for long-term growth in the trade, will find this role a solid foundation. Many of Kirmac's leaders and technicians started as detailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare vehicles inside and out post-repair, including electric vehicles, hybrids, and those with advanced driver-assist systems.
- Conduct vehicle quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Support technicians and team members as needed.
- Safely operate and maneuver vehicles within the shop and parking areas.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workplace environments.
- Present a courteous and professional demeanor representing Kirmac.

The role offers foundational skills leading to advanced careers such as auto body technician apprenticeships, automotive painting, collision estimating, parts coordination, and leadership roles within the shop.
Candidate Profile
- Eager to learn and dedicated to hard work.
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to collaborate and follow directions.
- Possession of a valid BC driver's license (including N class).
- Interest in automotive trades is advantageous but not required.
- No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided.
