About the Role
An internationally recognized consulting firm is on the lookout for a seasoned Audit Manager to enhance its expanding assurance practice based in Singapore. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple audit and assurance projects from initial planning through to final delivery.
- Manage a varied portfolio consisting of local and multinational clients across different sectors.
- Ensure audit reviews comply rigorously with standards including SFRS, IFRS, SSA, and ISA.
- Provide pragmatic solutions addressing complex accounting and audit challenges.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with clients and essential stakeholders.
- Control budgets, schedules, profitability, and invoicing related to engagements.
- Mentor and support audit staff by providing continual feedback and managing performance.
- Collaborate with partners and business development teams on proposals and pursuit of new clients.
- Encourage an organizational culture prioritizing quality, cooperation, and ongoing improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a recognized professional accounting credential such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW.
- Brings a minimum of six years' experience in external auditing, preferably with an international or prominent public accounting firm.
- Possesses deep technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards including SFRS, IFRS, SSA, and ISA, with familiarity working with listed companies.
- Experienced in managing audit assignments and leading teams effectively.
- Thrives in challenging, client-centric, and fast-moving environments.
- Proactively driven with a strong dedication to developing team members and ensuring high-quality audit outcomes.
