Job description
Role Overview
As an Audit Director, you will join a team dedicated to delivering a comprehensive range of audit, accounting, and advisory services. This role offers the chance to engage directly with decision-makers, working in a stimulating environment. You will primarily manage a broad range of clients within the Film and TV industry, reporting directly to Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the delivery of exceptional services to clients.
- Act as the lead client liaison for audit, accounts preparation, and compliance services.
- Manage client engagements end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, review, issue resolution, and final delivery to Partners.
- Lead and develop the team to uphold high standards of work quality.
- Control project costs and timelines to complete assignments efficiently and within budget.
- Support Partners in enhancing services provided to client portfolios.
- Serve as a business advisor to clients, expanding both general and specialist market expertise.
- Proactively contribute to generating new business opportunities.
- Engage in continuous professional development through regular attendance at updates.
About the Team and Industry
Our Film and TV department is a market leader in Ireland and the UK, offering a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. The UK is the largest production hub outside Los Angeles, with many American companies choosing the UK and Ireland for content production. The sector in Ireland has doubled in size over the past three years and is expected to double again in the next two years.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and 2 years in a management role.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Client-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service and business development.
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building capabilities.
