Audit Senior Manager

Role Overview

The Audit Senior Manager will join our team delivering comprehensive audit, accounting, and advisory services to clients, focusing on client engagement and decision-maker interaction. This role involves managing a broad client portfolio primarily within the Film and TV sectors, reporting directly to Partners, and collaborating closely with the Film and TV team based in London. Additionally, the position includes some accounts preparation duties and occasional special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure delivery of top-quality audit, accounting, and compliance services to clients.
• Serve as the primary client contact for producing high-standard accounts preparation and audit services, fostering professional relationships alongside the service team.
• Manage full client engagements from planning through delivery, including budget oversight, file reviews, resolving critical issues with Partners and clients, culminating in case delivery to Partners.
• Lead and mentor the audit team to maintain high work quality standards.
• Ensure efficient management of workloads to complete cases on schedule and within budget.
• Assist Partners in enhancing services offered to the client portfolio.
• Act in a business advisory capacity, expanding both general and specialised industry knowledge.
• Proactively pursue opportunities to bring new business to the firm.
• Engage in continuous professional development via regular attendance at relevant updates.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Deep technical expertise in accounting and auditing principles.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership qualities, interpersonal communication, and team management abilities.
• Client-service oriented and proactively engaged in business development activities.
• Commercially astute with a talent for building and sustaining client relationships.
