Key Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot all Audio Visual (AV), Protection, Lighting, and conferencing equipment and systems.
• Manage AV equipment installation in banquet and meeting rooms, ensuring full functionality.
• Perform repair and maintenance on electronic systems including TVs, in-house movie/music systems, intercoms, two-way radios, AV projectors, and related devices.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to AV equipment checklists to guarantee superior guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the engineering area.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team for smooth operations and promptly report critical maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Adhere to departmental and corporate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and legal safety operating procedures (LSOP).
• Commit to workplace safety and contribute to sustaining an accident-free environment for yourself and others.

Candidate Requirements

• Vocational qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanics, IT, or related technical fields (Technical Trade Course Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facility management, including at least 1 year within an international 5-star luxury hotel environment.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience as a Guest Rooms Technician or in a comparable role.
• Proficient in routine maintenance of various AV systems, knowledgeable about relevant equipment, methods, and tools.
• Ability to read building electrical schematics and a strong grasp of maintenance inventory management.
• Skilled in installation, repair, and upkeep of electrical systems and electronic wiring fittings.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach; proficient in English for effective interaction.
