Job description
Role Purpose
This role focuses on ensuring the secure management of cash transported to and from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) as well as from the designated cash centre. The custodian holds full accountability for the cash under their control and is responsible for replenishing both cash and stationery supplies in the ATMs, aiming to support maximum ATM uptime.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a clean criminal record
- At least Grade B accreditation from PSIRA
- Completion of firearm training for handguns and rifles
- Valid SAPS competency certificate
- Certified CIT qualification
- Relevant background in security or related fields
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with computers
Main Duties
- Daily loading and managing cash stocks at all ATMs
- Ensuring secure handling and precise accounting of all cash movements each day
- Address and resolve technical issues occurring on ATMs
- Maintaining accurate cash balancing and transaction documentation
- Vigilantly safeguarding client property consistently
- Strict adherence to established key operational procedures
- Perform scanning operations related to transaction tracking
- Provide assistance and maintain positive client engagement
