Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Atlassian / DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage various Atlassian tools and DevSecOps processes within our infrastructure based in Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves extensive configuration and customization of Jira, Bitbucket, and related applications to enhance productivity and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage Jira workflows, screens, schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports to meet team requirements.
- Develop Jira Automation rules and write scripting solutions for process automation and enhancements.
- Configure and administer Jira Service Management, including defining request types, SLAs, queues, and workflows.
- Design and implement integrations between Atlassian tools and external software using REST APIs and webhooks.
- Utilize Groovy and ScriptRunner for advanced customizations within Jira.
- Support the migration, upgrade, and integration of data across Jira and Confluence platforms.
- Manage Bitbucket configurations including repository settings, permission schemes, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify and resolve issues related to performance, configuration errors, workflow bottlenecks, and tool integrations.
- Create reusable solutions and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
