At Your Service Agent (AYS)

Job Summary

This role involves responding to and managing all guest inquiries and requests through various communication channels such as phone, email, chat, and mobile devices. Key duties include operating the telephone switchboard, facilitating wake-up calls, directing calls, and accurately logging messages. The agent assists guests by providing information on room features, hotel amenities, local attractions, and processing room service orders using the point-of-sale system. Support is also provided in accessing internet and in-room entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all guest communications promptly and professionally via multiple platforms.
• Manage telephone switchboard operations, including call routing and wake-up calls.
• Record, relay, and track guest messages and requests, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
• Provide detailed information about hotel services, amenities, and surrounding area attractions.
• Assist with processing transactions related to room service orders.
• Support guests with technology-related inquiries such as internet access and entertainment systems.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and courteously, using proper phone etiquette and language.
• Foster positive team dynamics and contribute to shared goals.
• Comply with quality assurance standards.
• Perform physical activities like standing or walking for long periods and moving light objects (up to 10 pounds).
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
