Role Overview
As part of Deutsche Börse Group's initiative to lead in building the future marketplace, the Enterprise Architecture function is critical. It aligns business and technology strategies while driving change and transformation. The Enterprise Architect will provide architectural services across technology strategy planning, including establishing group-wide standards, defining future and target state architectures, governing architecture processes, and developing comprehensive group-wide services. The role also involves fostering innovation through exploration and assessment of emerging technology trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and documenting the current and target enterprise architectures, develop strategies to address architectural gaps, and contribute to implementing the architecture roadmap.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, operations, governance, and security experts to maintain and update the enterprise architecture repository.
- Track essential business performance metrics to ensure IT initiatives support business goals, assist in defining and managing relevant metrics, and provide guidance on architectural matters to projects and programs.
- Enhance the maturity and adoption of Enterprise Architecture practices throughout the organization.
- Evaluate industry, technology, and market trends early in their adoption cycle to assess potential impacts on the enterprise.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.
- More than eight years of experience in Information Technology or IT strategy consulting.
- Strong architectural mindset with the ability to align business and IT strategies; experience with Enterprise Architecture practice development, hybrid cloud and cloud architecture, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with financial markets is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
- Preferred certifications in architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
