About the Role
A well-established and expanding planning consultancy located in Cornwall seeks an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their team. This position is suitable for an ambitious Chartered Planner who desires to lead projects, manage a varied workload, and contribute significantly to client relationship development and business expansion. The consultancy is renowned for delivering clear, practical advice and tailored service across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, energy, and heritage. Their clientele spans from national developers to private individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning projects throughout all stages.
- Prepare planning appraisals, applications, and appeals.
- Offer expert guidance to clients.
- Mentor and support junior staff members.
- Represent clients at planning committees and appeals.
- Drive business success and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be a Chartered Town Planner with MRTPI accreditation.
- Possess broad and solid experience in planning.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and insight into development and consultancy sectors.
- Hold a full driving license, though exceptions may be considered.
