Role Overview

The Associate Service Technician position operates 24/7 and plays a crucial role to maintain operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and data centre uptime. Responsibilities include customer support, equipment maintenance, and monitoring functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support and engagement with customers, fellow technicians, and contractors during support and maintenance activities.
  • Monitoring critical infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted client and business operations.
  • Using electronic systems to proactively oversee site conditions.
  • Promptly responding to customer requests and critical incidents.
  • Ensuring all activities are performed safely according to CDC's processes and policies.
  • Reporting events promptly and aiding in restoring normal operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in technical fields such as telecommunications, fibre optics, fire systems, trades, IT, industrial facilities, or related sectors.
  • Strong collaboration skills with varied stakeholders including internal teams and external service providers.
  • Proficient in identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Advanced skills in Office 365 applications.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, with eligibility to obtain a New Zealand Security Clearance.
