Role Overview

The Associate Product Marketer will assist in crafting and executing product marketing strategies focused on Capital Group's investment solutions and strategic growth areas. This position acts as a bridge between product teams, sales, and marketing, shaping product messaging, launches, campaigns, and client outreach initiatives. It is ideal for individuals early in their marketing careers interested in investment products, strategic storytelling, and gaining experience with regional marketing across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that highlight benefits, differentiation, and client relevance across segments.
  • Collaborate with investment specialists to transform complex financial concepts into clear, compelling marketing communications.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Support product launches, strategic campaigns, and go-to-market activities in Asia, coordinating with sales and client marketing teams.
  • Help manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Gain insights into client audiences, identify relevant product stories, and build narratives connecting product features to investor needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and adapt content across various formats including presentations, emails, web content, articles, videos, and social media posts, ensuring alignment with approved messaging.
  • Support sales enablement and client education resource creation.
  • Monitor marketing engagement metrics and gather stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategy enhancements.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Between 1 to 3 years of experience in product marketing, communications, consulting, research, or related fields.
  • Ability to manage projects involving diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with financial services or investment sectors is an asset.
  • Strong interest and aptitude in strategic and product marketing.
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling capabilities.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex ideas for various audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective project management and prioritization.
  • Analytical thinking and close attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
