As an Associate Partner within our Commercial Banking team, you will work alongside seasoned Partners managing a diverse range of business clients. Your key focus will include assisting with credit writing, performing financial analyses, monitoring portfolio risks, and delivering proactive customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to Commercial Partners through credit writing, conducting annual business reviews, covenant compliance testing, and managing portfolio administrative tasks.
- Examine financial data and develop lending proposals aimed at securing high-quality outcomes for customers.
- Assist in credit management processes and contribute to the implementation of annual business plans for designated client portfolios.
- Build and nurture customer relationships while fostering strong referral networks within BNZ and the surrounding market.
- Guide customers in effectively utilizing BNZ’s digital platforms and support channels, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate assistance.
Candidate Profile
We welcome applications from individuals with business banking experience, especially those familiar with credit support, lending applications, and portfolio management. Candidates with expertise in complex lending, credit assessment, financial analysis, or a strong finance-oriented background are also encouraged to apply. Essential qualities include:
- Experience in business banking with a focus on lending applications, credit documentation, or portfolio oversight is highly desirable.
- Alternatively, considerable background in complex lending, credit risk evaluation, or financial analysis will be valued.
- Confidence in interpreting business financial statements, understanding customer needs, and preparing precise and clear information.
- Meticulous attention to detail, prudent judgement, and adeptness at juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, customer-centric communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with clients via phone as needed.
