About the Role
The Associate Manager – Acquisition (Household) operates as a frontline sales professional within the Branch Banking division, tasked with attracting new savings account customers. This position requires identifying promising clients, effectively communicating the advantages and features of the bank's savings products, and successfully closing accounts. The individual will also ensure excellent customer experience, support onboarding to digital banking platforms, and cultivate enduring customer relationships that facilitate sustained business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition of savings account customers within designated segments and generate references from the targeted catchment area.
- Ensure that customer acquisition aligns with quality standards, including the constitution, product assortment, and target segments.
- Facilitate onboarding and activation of customers on digital banking services.
- Support the Senior Sales Manager in mapping catchment areas and planning branch outreach exercises.
- Regularly report customer insights and lead business development opportunities to Senior Sales and Branch Managers.
- Uphold strict adherence to sales compliance guidelines, organizational SOPs, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct regular outreach and acquisition campaigns, focusing on high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and premium customer segments to boost visibility of IDFC FIRST Bank.
- Engage with central bank initiatives and proactively seek referrals from existing clientele.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a comprehensive suite of products and services to customers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Have 0 to 4 years of sales experience, preferably within the banking, financial services, or insurance sectors.
Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
- Capable of identifying and converting potential leads into business opportunities.
- Familiarity with digital banking tools and onboarding methods.
- Exhibit high integrity and strong adherence to compliance requirements.

- Proficient in English with excellent business communication capabilities.
