Position Overview

Located in Brantford, Ontario, this full-time onsite role offers a 37.5-hour workweek within the TD Wealth business segment. The annual compensation ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 CAD, supplemented by opportunities for commission-based earnings. Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture enduring relationships with mass affluent clients by understanding their life and financial goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and deliver tailored advice aligned with client objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics and technology to evaluate financial program effectiveness and craft strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet shared goals, enhancing overall client experience and service quality.
  • Monitor operational productivity, identify efficiency improvements, and lead initiatives to optimize processes.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices, innovations, and regulatory changes to maintain cutting-edge financial planning expertise.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Maintain rigorous risk management practices consistent with organizational standards.
  • Contribute positively to a service-oriented and inclusive team environment.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor’s degree, with 3 to 5 years experience in the banking sector, especially in client relationship management and tailored investment advice.
  • Required to pass the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) prior to commencing employment.
  • Prepared to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensure through the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), if not already licensed.
  • Commitment to acquire the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification within three years, with eligibility determined by university education or relevant work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on business development, networking, and client acquisition.
