Role Responsibilities
- Support daily operations within a semiconductor manufacturing facility, employing strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, and root cause failure analysis.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives driven by data analysis and informed decision-making.
- Enhance manufacturing equipment KPIs, including availability percentage, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
- Work extensively with technologies involving electronics, high vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics.
Relevant Equipment Experience
Experience with the following equipment is beneficial but not required:
- Applied Material Implanters and Deposition Platforms
- Axcellis implanters
- Akrion and JST Wet benches
- ASM and Aviza Furnaces
- TEL Tracks
- Nikon Steppers
- LAM Etchers
- Novellus Deposition Platforms
- Semitool, SEZ, and Siconnex Wet Chemistry Platforms
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Ordinary NFQ Level 7 or Honours NFQ Level 8)
- Six to ten years of experience in maintenance engineering or as a maintenance technician, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing or a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in analytical troubleshooting techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, and 5-Whys methodology with strong repair accuracy.
- Ability to adhere to preventative maintenance schedules and follow Standard Work processes.
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices is advantageous.
Additional Information
- This position is based at our Limerick cleanroom Class 10 Wafer Fabrication facility.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday.
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
