About the Role
Join Zebra People as an experienced technology recruiter leading the expansion of our established Technology & Engineering division. This senior, hands-on position requires someone well-versed in market dynamics, capable of delivering top-notch results, and eager to shape and expand a successful practice with the support of an experienced team and an international recruitment group.
The role builds on strong existing foundations including Preferred Supplier List (PSL) relationships, and a substantial network of start-up, scale-up, and enterprise clients across the UK, US, and Europe. You will deliver both traditional recruitment and embedded talent services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth strategy and continued expansion of the Technology & Engineering recruitment practice at Zebra People.
- Enhance existing client partnerships, PSLs, and leverage an international client network.
- Develop and promote a clear and distinctive market proposition.
- Secure new permanent, contract, and embedded recruitment assignments.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with CTOs, CIOs, engineering leaders, and talent acquisition teams.
- Maintain active involvement in business development, recruitment, and service delivery.
- Expand a strong professional network within technology leadership and software engineering sectors.
- Utilize market insights and data analytics to identify business opportunities and offer strategic advice to clients.
- Employ an advanced recruitment technology stack, regularly updated, to enhance research, sourcing, insights, and productivity.
- Apply AI and automation thoughtfully, while emphasizing the significance of human judgement and genuine market expertise.
- Contribute to Zebra Talks Tech and other community-building events in the technology sector.
- Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team as the practice grows.
- Collaborate across Zebra People and the wider HW Group to uncover new business avenues.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in technology recruitment with strong personal billing achievements.
- Credibility and a well-established network within Technology and Engineering fields.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and developing long-lasting client relationships.
- Experience in building or substantially growing a recruitment desk, market segment, or practice.
- Possesses a growth mindset and confidence to pursue new business opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial and commercial approach with willingness to innovate.
- Experience mentoring or coaching recruitment professionals.
- Interest in leveraging technology, AI, and modern work methodologies to enhance recruitment outcomes.
