Role Overview

The Associate Director in Relationship Management will be a key member of the team, responsible for actively managing and supporting assigned client relationships and funds. This role emphasizes commercial and governance responsibilities, as well as representing the company at external forums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction with service delivered across all company entities.
  • Serve as the main liaison and escalation contact for clients, maintaining robust engagement with Investment Managers, Fund Boards, and other service providers such as Fund Administrators and Legal Advisors.
  • Represent the company in Board meetings by delivering clear reports and maintaining strong governance standards.
  • Oversee operational performance and service quality for assigned clients, along with commercial profitability and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products, enhancing client value and relationship depth.
  • Develop and regularly update formal account plans, capturing client strategy, priorities, risks, and growth possibilities.
  • Ensure accurate recording of client data, interactions, and opportunities in Salesforce to support internal coordination and pipeline management.
  • Encourage collaboration across internal teams to provide a unified and responsive client service.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Risk, and Product teams to resolve issues, sustain service standards, and manage projects.
  • Monitor relationship risks and promptly escalate issues, promoting resolution and process improvements based on lessons learned.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, UCITS, and MiFID, ensuring client servicing aligns with current requirements.
  • Lead or support projects focused on regulatory and business change implementations within the Relationship Management team.
  • Assume the role of Director on client funds when requested.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal abilities and a proven capacity to build client relationships.
  • At least eight years of experience within the investment funds sector.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including AIFMD, UCITS, and MiFID is essential.
  • Previous client-facing role requiring proficient presentation skills.
  • Academic credentials include a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
