We are seeking a seasoned banking expert to join us as an Associate Client Director within our Corporate Banking division. Working closely alongside a Client Director, you will manage and expand a portfolio of corporate clients and pursue new banking relationships. Your responsibilities will include formulating client strategies, delivering strategic advice, leading credit submissions, and partnering with specialist product teams to craft solutions that bring substantial value to clients.
Key Duties
- Assist in managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients.
- Create and implement client plans that correspond with industry trends and customer needs.
- Lead the preparation and approval of credit analyses for new business opportunities.
- Support origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
- Collaborate closely with Risk and Product teams to achieve superior customer outcomes.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and senior leaders.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients and strengthen existing clients' engagements.
- Represent ASB at industry events and networks as appropriate.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, Investment Banking, or Financial Services sectors.
- Strong understanding of corporate lending, financing structures, and treasury solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and managing credit risk.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- A successful history of handling complex client relationships and achieving client-centric outcomes.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and teams.
